Josh Finding TalkShoe

May 24th, 2008  |  Published in TalkShoe, Web 2.0

Looks like I told you all that I was going to type up the stories of how I found TalkShoe. Now, here I go.

Back in October when Meebo and TalkShoe partnered up, I had seen the service but never quite looked around a lot until mid-December – When I first joined a call with Ben Fryxell and Bill Dangler. TalkShoe seemed like a very nice service. So, I went a head and started a TalkCast, TechCast (which is in Generation 2 – Tech Nation).. Then I started particpating in other TalkCasts, and started to love what I was doing.. So – I have moved forward and now host three different Calls, Two are more focused than the other. And look at me now, I am now a TalkShoe Support Specialist. What great times I have had since Mid-December, I plan on being with talkshoe for time to come (if not years to come)! Stay tuned for the Toronto release on talkshoe on Tuesday. Until next time…

Josh’s TalkShoe Job

May 23rd, 2008  |  Published in Information, TalkShoe

As most of you probably know by now, I have joined the TalkShoe team and I joined at the begining of the month.

Well, I am a community developer, but I help in the Support area.. I like the Title: “Support Specialist”.

Here is what I do:

I work with TalkShoe users to answer questions on the Forums, FAQs, Email and I guess Friends calling me asking questions would be part of my job too! Overall, I would call my self more of a “Community Support Specialist”.
I’ve been with TalkShoe for almost a month and I’ve liked the experience of it. It’s been fun so far and plan on being with TalkShoe for time to come. Since I’ve come on board I’ve met alot of great people via the internet. All of them are nice, which I would think would be the case anyway. TalkShoe is an all around great company/service.

Look for another post about TalkShoe next Tuesday or Wednesday about TalkShoe (the Release), while waiting for that, why don’t you check out the new version of the Budde Podcasting Center. Don’t forget, Wetpaint Nation is live at 7PM EST / 4PM PST / 11:00PM GMT.

Oh and I have something cool coming very soon for you guys and girls. I think you’ll like it. By the way, I will be telling you all how I found Talkshoe very shortly.

Banner Exchanges

April 24th, 2008  |  Published in Blog, Information, Update, Web 2.0

I did a link exchange with someone yesterday, and I think it is always great to trade links. It is a great way to get more traffic, hince the reason I did that.

Well, for those that want to trade links or banners. You can send me an email at podcast@buddes.net with the following things:

  • URL of Blog or Website
  •  Your Name
  • Name of Blog or Website
  • 440px × 56px Banner (If you want to do a Banner Exchange)

Along with this, if you would like to have a chance to have your blog or website featured on Tech Nation’s weekly segment starting on June 6th. Send a link, your name, and site name and we will check it out and will decide if it will be one of our site of the week.

As always, thanks for all of the readers and linking. It is great and if you have any ideas, Let me know. Oh and I was wondering, what do you think of “top 5 diggs of the week”?
