Why Do People Hate Tests?
November 18th, 2008 | Published in Life, School | 3 Comments
As I have encountered for the past 9 years, everybody in school has to take tests in order to measure they’re ability on a specific topic. But, one thing I have never really known the answer to is, Why do people hate tests?
I hate them mainly because they are early in the morning, usually and because they usually take up too much time. With the fact that I have a ton of State Tests this year, I’d love to find an opinion on why you think people hate tests.
So, Why do you think people hate Tests?

Hey Josh!
I know what you mean about school tests, all heart and soul is taken out of education these days and replaced with constant monitoring of kids abilities.
It’s kind of ironic really that if you go to any womens website, such as iVillage, or read a womens magazine, you will find almost constant tests on every subject there is all for the reader to answer the question “Am I Normal?”! This unfortunately is because so many people are so scared of standing out from the crowd and airing their views like bloggers do. These tests are pointless 99% of the time and a waste of time, but people (women mostly) can’t resist these tests!

@Ian Mayman – Thanks for your input on this topic. I just don’t see why they have to consistently have to measure our abilities; not like it changes in one week.

Josh, school tests have been on the political agenda for a while, though not recently. Take a look at these reports to see what I mean:
