Finals
UPDATE: Spanish final is over and I got a 92% . Science one is Monday through Wednesday and the Social Studies one is Tuesday through Thursday.
It seems as is it is coming to the end of the school year, finally!
- [Finished] My Spanish final is the week after next and prepping for this exam is killing me.
- My Math final is on June 17th.
- [Updated Above] My Science final is coming.. No one seems to know when and same with Social Studies.
- There will not be an English final exam.
As the year nears the end with less than a month of school left - I’ll be out on June 24th and you’ll start to see one to two blog posts per day!
Knowing that I’ll have the same English teacher (she is cycling up with our class) and the fact that I am taking two advanced classes next year, next year will be a great year!
Another blog post is coming later with the story that I wrote a bit ago and just haven’t had the chance to type it up.

As Dave said in the blog post on TalkShoe, this is the most stable release on TalkShoe, yet.
This week’s new release has been our most stable ever (still not quite perfect - there are occasional streaming failures that we’re working to resolve)
Josh Finding TalkShoe
Looks like I told you all that I was going to type up the stories of how I found TalkShoe. Now, here I go.
Back in October when Meebo and TalkShoe partnered up, I had seen the service but never quite looked around a lot until mid-December - When I first joined a call with Ben Fryxell and Bill Dangler. TalkShoe seemed like a very nice service. So, I went a head and started a TalkCast, TechCast (which is in Generation 2 - Tech Nation).. Then I started particpating in other TalkCasts, and started to love what I was doing.. So - I have moved forward and now host three different Calls, Two are more focused than the other. And look at me now, I am now a TalkShoe Support Specialist. What great times I have had since Mid-December, I plan on being with talkshoe for time to come (if not years to come)! Stay tuned for the Toronto release on talkshoe on Tuesday. Until next time…
Twitter is Down, Again!
After looking at the Official Twitter Blog, Twitter has announced that they have detected an errant API usage through their Jabber resources.
We found an errant API project eating way too much of our Jabber (a flavor of instant messenger) resources. This activity (which we’ve corrected) had an affect of overloading our main database, resulting in the error pages and slowness most people are now encountering.
We’re bringing services back online now. Some will be slower than others for a while, and we’ll be watching IM and IM-based API clients very closely. We’ll also be taking steps to avoid this behavior in the future.
Hope this was causing their issues earlier this week and they can fix them.
Josh’s TalkShoe Job

As most of you probably know by now, I have joined the TalkShoe team and I joined at the begining of the month.
Well, I am a community developer, but I help in the Support area.. I like the Title: “Support Specialist”.
Here is what I do:
I work with TalkShoe users to answer questions on the Forums, FAQs, Email and I guess Friends calling me asking questions would be part of my job too! Overall, I would call my self more of a “Community Support Specialist”.
Oh and I have something cool coming very soon for you guys and girls. I think you’ll like it. By the way, I will be telling you all how I found Talkshoe very shortly.
